What is a pre-order?
A pre-order is a firm purchase of a future product that is expected to become available at a later date.
Pre-ordering allows you to reserve an item before it arrives in stock and reduces the risk of it being unavailable when it is released.
In the same way that Figurine Collector commits to ordering the product for you, confirming a pre-order constitutes a commitment to purchase the item.
Paying for a pre-order
For pre-order products priced above €70, you can choose between two payment options:
- payment of the full product price at the time of pre-order;
- payment of a 15% deposit at the time of pre-order.
How does the deposit work?
If you choose to pay a deposit, you pay 15% of the product price when placing the pre-order.
The remaining balance, representing 85% of the product price, becomes due when the product arrives in stock at Figurine Collector.
You will then be informed that the product has arrived so that you can pay the remaining balance before shipment.
Paying the deposit reserves your item in the same way as paying in full. The deposit constitutes a firm commitment to purchase the pre-ordered product.
Paying in full at the time of pre-order
You may also choose to pay the full product price when confirming your pre-order.
In this case, no further balance will be due when the product arrives in stock, and your order can be prepared for shipment as soon as the item is available, provided there are no other unavailable products included in the same order.
Estimated availability dates
The dates displayed for pre-order products are estimates based on information provided by the manufacturer or supplier when the product is listed.
These dates may change due to production, transport, manufacturer decisions or other circumstances beyond the control of Figurine Collector.
A manufacturing or delivery delay therefore does not mean that the product has been cancelled.
Manufacturer delays
Pre-order products may be subject to production or delivery delays determined by the manufacturer.
Figurine Collector does not control these timeframes and will pass on available information as soon as it is communicated to us.
The conditions relating to the cancellation of a pre-order in the event of a delay are those set out in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Change of address during the pre-order period
If your delivery address changes between the date of your pre-order and the arrival of the product in stock, you must contact us so that we can update the delivery address associated with your order.
Changing the address in your customer account does not necessarily update an order that has already been placed.
We therefore recommend notifying us of any change of address as soon as possible to avoid any issue when your pre-order is shipped.
Shipping pre-order products
Pre-order products are shipped after they have been received into our stock.
Orders are processed in the order in which pre-orders were placed and according to the quantities actually received from the manufacturer or supplier.
When we receive reliable information regarding the upcoming arrival of a product in stock, we may notify you by email.
Orders containing several products
If your order contains several products with different availability dates, separate shipments may be required.
In this case, shipping charges may apply to each shipment, in accordance with the conditions shown during checkout and in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Cancellation or modification of a pre-order
A pre-order constitutes a commitment to purchase. The applicable conditions for cancellation, modification or refund are detailed in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
