Official products and authenticity

We only sell official products

At Figurine Collector, we have always chosen to offer only officially licensed products.

For collectors, this is important. An official figure has a clear origin, an identified manufacturer and a licence granted by the relevant rights holders. It also tends to retain its appeal and value on the collectors' market far better than an unofficial copy.

For this reason, we do not sell the many unlicensed figures and statues that circulate on the market.

What does “officially licensed” mean?

It simply means that the rights holders of the relevant film, manga, video game or franchise have authorised the production and sale of the product.

The manufacturer has therefore obtained the right to use the characters, logos and universe of the licence.

We work with official brands

Many brands trust us, and Figurine Collector is an official distributor or partner for several manufacturers in the collectibles industry.

We work directly with brands or with their authorised distributors in order to know and guarantee the origin of the products we offer.

How can you recognise a copy?

It is not always easy to tell from a photograph. Some copies even reproduce the packaging of the official product.

The differences are often easier to see when the product is examined closely: less detailed sculpting, less precise paintwork, lower-quality materials or rougher finishing.

Some copies are produced directly from moulds taken from official figures, which explains why they can look very similar to the original at first glance.

How can you check whether a product is official?

The most important thing is to check the origin of the product and the reliability of the seller.

You can also visit the manufacturer's official website or contact the manufacturer directly to check whether the retailer sources products through official channels.

A price that is extremely low compared with the usual market price can also be a warning sign.

At Figurine Collector

All figures, statues, replicas and collectibles offered by Figurine Collector are official products.

We do not offer any product without the appropriate licence from the relevant rights holders when such a licence is required.
